Job Description:
Develop, Test, debug, document and maintain embedded C applications for land mobile radio (LMR) systems. Design and execute automated feature and system integration test cases, create a simulation environment. Function as primary release engineering resource within the software team. Function as primary liaison to system verification test.
Qualifications:
- Programming languages (Assembly, C, C++)
- Experience with micro-controllers, ARM and DSP architectures
- Experience with wireless digital embedded devices
- Design, establishment, and execution of feature and system validation test environment
- Experience with release engineering processes
- C programming expertise in a Windows development environment.
- Knowledge of software best practices.
- Experience developing applications on a multithreaded operating system for real-time control functions.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well in a small team environment and contribute individually.
- Good organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- BS Computer Science / Computer Engineering degree with 4+ years experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with TI OMAP processors
- Change management software (ClearCase)
- Knowledge of CDPD and wireless communications
