We are currently recruiting for a SharePoint Engineer/Developer with special emphasis placed on knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) 2007 and experience with programming or scripting development. We are seeking a motivated person who wants to work in a dynamic environment with numerous opportunities and challenges.
 
Specific Responsibilities
• Configuring, developing and supporting SharePoint solutions
• Translate functional specifications into system designs and technical specifications, lead and perform development activities, create and execute test plans and ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Establishing and documenting best practices and coding standards for .NET, SharePoint, and other scripting/programming languages
• Contributing to the establishment of a .NET and SharePoint support and governance model
• Developing technical documentation for all assigned work
• Become the focal point for all SharePoint standards and usage, controlling and entering data on all SharePoint sites
• Diagnose application problems and provide prompt and accurate solutions
• Assist or lead in the development of custom scripting and/or coding on multiple platforms

 
Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of SharePoint technical lead and architecture experience on corporate initiatives
• 4+ years of SharePoint architectural design, Web Parts development, server installation, backend database design and configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
• 5+ years of experience providing business and systems analysis for implementation projects and software development
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and SharePoint Designer 2007
• 2+ years of experience with programming and scripting development in languages such as Perl, Python, C/C++/C#, Javascript, and/or VBScript.
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
 
Desired Qualifications
•         Experience with portals, searches, content management systems, business process and enterprise social computing platforms preferred
•         Development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
•         Experience analyzing complex business processes and articulating improvements to achieve operational efficiencies
